Nurbs Surfaces Basics
One of my most-watched videos on YouTube is an old one about using NURBS surfaces in Blender. NURBS Surfaces can be handy when you want to create precise, smooth surfaces with a small amount of control points.
That old video gets a lot of the same comment, which is from people mistakenly using the wrong Nurbs type and then failing to do the subsequent steps. So I decided to remake the video and make it very clear what the correct menu is.
It was also an opportunity to try and make something using NURBS (not exactly my modeling technique of choice), and after almost giving up... I finally managed to model a somewhat decent mouse!
And while doing so, I made some notes and wrote down some tips. Most of those are in this video, but I will write some more tips when I add this chapter to my e-book. (Which is slated for an update later this month).
I hope this helps someone make something with NURBS, in Blender.
