Previously we’ve explored how to create a toon outline using the inverted hull method in Eevee. But what if you want to take advantage of some of the benefits of Cycles? Unfortunately you can’t enable Backface Culling in a material in Cycles, so this method doesn’t work. However, with some additional shader nodes you can also achieve the inverted hull outline in Cycles.
